Raised dipping pond
Pond dipping at the Parc is proving to be a real hit. Free to use as part of the Parc entrance fee, visitors just turn up at the advertised pond dipping times to get a 15 minute session ticket. Our raised 7.5m x 4.5m dipping pond makes pond dipping fun, safe and easy to do as the children don’t have to bend over deep water.
The pond is full with newts, mayflies, dragonflies and damselflies, water boatmen and greater diving beetles together with a myriad of small invertebrate life, leeches and hog lice… everyone catches so much pond life.
