The Bug Parc is for everybody

We’ve designed the Parc to be an accessible attraction that can be enjoyed by everyone. These are some of the features we’ve already put in place, but please contact us in advance of your visit if there are any reasonable accommodations we can make to ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible!

Accessibility
  • Wheelchair accessibility
  • Allocated disabled parking spaces
  • Autism quiet hours (email us for details and appointments.)
  • Accessible changing facilities
  • Step stools for our shorter visitors
  • Assistance and guide dogs are welcome throughout the Parc (except in the handling experience)
  • No other animals will be allowed in the Parc.

We also work closely with SEN schools and other like bodies to cater for the special needs of carers and their charges.

Rules for assistance dogs

Dogs are not currently permitted on The Bug Parc site with the exception of Assistance Dogs under specific conditions.

  • Assistance Dogs must be kept on an Identifying harness at all times. This will help others in the Parc recognise that this is a working dog.
  • Your dog is not allowed to roam freely at any time.
  • Dogs may not enter the Handling Room.
  • You must clean up after your dog. We do not provide dog waste bins or bags.
  • The owner of any dog which has been let off its harness will be asked to leave the Parc without a refund.
